Guardian Terms and Conditions
Effective date: September 29, 2026
On this page
These terms govern the purchase and use of Guardian, a service of Go Digitals LLC.
By purchasing, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the authority to act on behalf of the business concerned.
The official channel for support, requests, and contractual communications is [email protected].
1. Purpose and scope of the service
Guardian works on your business's organic presence through analysis, content creation, and improvements intended to help search engines understand your website and its services.
Depending on the offer purchased, the service may include work on WordPress, posts on Google Business Profile, analysis of Google data, and progress tracking through the reporting app.
The deliverables, publishing goals, price, and included benefits will be those expressly stated in the offer accepted at the time of purchase. These terms do not remove deliverables promised in that offer.
Paid advertising (Ads), advertising spend, custom feature development, and other additional services must be expressly purchased.
2. Membership, billing, and recurring payments
Guardian may be offered under monthly or annual plans.
Before confirming a purchase, the customer will be shown the applicable price, currency, billing period, taxes, promotional conditions, and renewal frequency.
Monthly memberships renew monthly until canceled.
Annual memberships are charged in advance for the applicable annual term and renew annually unless canceled before the next renewal date.
By purchasing a recurring plan, the customer authorizes Guardian and its payment processor, currently Stripe, to charge the applicable renewal amount to the payment method on file.
Promotional pricing may apply only for the period specifically stated in the offer. Unless otherwise stated, when the promotional period ends, the membership automatically continues at the regular price disclosed when the promotion was purchased.
Guardian may begin activation, processing, setup, infrastructure usage, and artificial intelligence operations once payment is confirmed.
If a payment fails, the membership may be paused until payment or the underlying issue is resolved.
Cancellation prevents future renewals. Unless the offer expressly states otherwise, access already paid for remains available through the end of the applicable paid billing period.
3. Membership pause
The membership may be paused due to non-payment, a declined charge, or any technical error that prevents the service from being provided, such as a lost connection to WordPress or Google.
While the membership is paused, Guardian's work automatically stops until it is restored, either by the corresponding payment or by resolving the technical issue.
Content scheduled to be published during the pause is not recovered or carried over to the following months: it is lost. Once work resumes, Guardian continues with the work for the current period.
A pause is not a cancellation. To cancel the membership, you must request it as described in the cancellation section.
4. Monthly publishing goal
Guardian works toward a monthly minimum goal of 30 pieces of content published on the customer's website and 12 posts on their Google Business Profile. Guardian may exceed this goal when there are opportunities for the business.
This is a working goal, not a guaranteed quantity. Not reaching it does not constitute a breach of these terms and does not give rise to claims, compensation, refunds, or lawsuits, because it may result from causes outside Guardian's control, including:
- Outages, errors, or lockouts of the WordPress website or its hosting.
- Disconnections from WordPress, Google, or other platforms.
- Non-payment or a paused membership.
- A lack of opportunities to cover with useful content for the business.
- Interruptions, changes, or restrictions on external platforms.
Guardian publishes when content adds value and responds to real opportunities. It does not create posts just to reach a number.
5. Immediate cancellation
You can cancel your membership at any time, with no minimum commitment.
To request cancellation, email [email protected] from the email address associated with your account and identify the business whose membership you want to cancel.
Cancellation takes effect immediately: the service ends and does not remain active until the end of the period already paid. When cancellation is requested by email, we will use as reference the date we receive a clear request that allows us to identify the account. We will confirm in writing that it has been processed.
As of the effective date, new tasks, posts, and improvements stop, as does access to app functions that depend on an active membership. No further renewals will be charged.
An operation previously sent to an external platform may finish processing before it can be stopped.
Cancellation does not eliminate amounts that were already due and does not affect rights granted to the customer by law.
6. No-refund policy
We do not offer voluntary refunds or prorated refunds for unused periods, including when you cancel before the end of the month.
The service may incur activation, processing, infrastructure, and artificial intelligence costs from the start.
This policy does not limit any non-waivable rights that apply under the law, nor does it exclude the review of duplicate, incorrect, or unauthorized charges. It also does not eliminate any legal remedies that may apply in the event of a breach.
7. What the customer keeps after canceling
Pages, posts, and improvements already added to the customer's website are not deliberately deleted or disabled because Guardian is canceled.
To the extent we hold the corresponding rights, the customer keeps the right to use and modify the content delivered and paid for. Third-party materials remain subject to their own licenses.
This does not transfer ownership of Guardian's software, its internal processes, its app, or third-party licenses.
The website's continued operation depends on keeping its hosting, domain, and other necessary services active. Services contracted separately with Go Digitals or other providers are governed by their own agreements.
Cancellation also does not create an obligation to complete tasks or content that have not yet been delivered.
8. WordPress maintenance bonus and ongoing website management
As a membership bonus, Guardian provides WordPress maintenance free of charge for 1 year (12 months) from the membership's activation, at no extra cost. It covers the WordPress website maintenance and updates included in the offer.
The bonus applies only while the membership is active. During a pause, maintenance stops and the bonus period is not extended. If the membership is canceled, the bonus ends immediately, with no right to claim the remaining time or its cash value.
The bonus cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred to another website or customer.
Once the bonus year ends or the membership is canceled, we do not take on the ongoing management of the website, its updates, backups, security, plugin compatibility, or content updates, unless contracted separately.
The customer must handle those tasks directly or through another provider.
The membership does not include training to manage WordPress, maintain the website, or continue Guardian's processes on your own, unless expressly agreed.
This clause does not exclude liability for our own actions where the law provides for it.
Technical WordPress maintenance
When maintenance is included and enabled under the applicable plan, offer, or promotional period, it may include:
- WordPress Core updates;
- plugin updates;
- theme updates;
- cache clearing;
- checks after updates;
- review of update-related errors;
- backups, when applicable;
- restoration when a Guardian-managed update creates an issue;
- other reasonable technical tasks within that maintenance scope.
Maintenance is provided only for the period included in the applicable plan, offer, or promotion, such as the 1-year WordPress maintenance bonus described in this section. It is not provided indefinitely.
Maintenance does not automatically include:
- redesigns;
- new sections;
- custom development;
- changes requested outside the service;
- custom code created by third parties;
- renewal or purchase of licenses;
- migrations;
- hosting or domain changes;
- repair of pre-existing problems;
- extraordinary work caused by malware, vulnerabilities, or previous configurations, unless agreed separately.
Keeping software up to date reduces risks, but Guardian does not guarantee immunity from attacks, malware, or third-party vulnerabilities.
Websites created or previously managed by third parties
Websites not created or previously managed by Guardian or Go Digitals may require a technical review before automated maintenance is enabled.
Third-party websites may contain pre-existing conditions including custom code, unsupported plugins, expired licenses, outdated software, malware, incompatible components, missing backups, hosting limitations, or modifications unknown to Guardian.
Guardian may restrict or delay automated maintenance when performing an update could reasonably create a risk to the website.
Work required to correct pre-existing problems, custom development, malware, incompatible software, or third-party modifications is not automatically included in the Guardian membership and may require a separate quote and customer approval.
Guardian is not responsible for defects or conditions that existed before Guardian obtained access to the website.
9. Authorization to work on WordPress and Google
By purchasing and connecting your platforms, you authorize Guardian to perform the tasks included in the service, including:
- Analyzing the website and the available data.
- Creating, editing, optimizing, and publishing content on WordPress.
- Adjusting elements related to search rankings within the purchased scope.
- Viewing Google Search Console data.
- Reviewing, updating, and publishing content on Google Business Profile, within the permissions granted.
You confirm that you own these platforms or have sufficient authorization to grant access and approve this work.
This authorization does not cover actions outside the purchased service or the transfer of ownership of your accounts.
10. Guardian technical service account
To provide the service, Guardian may automatically create, configure, or use a dedicated technical user or service account within the customer's WordPress installation.
By connecting WordPress and activating Guardian, the customer expressly authorizes the creation and use of this account.
Depending on the services enabled, the account may have permissions necessary to:
- analyze the website and its configuration;
- create, edit, optimize, and publish pages and posts;
- manage titles, headings, metadata, images, links, and other authorized SEO elements;
- manage content created or controlled by Guardian;
- perform technical checks;
- update WordPress Core, plugins, and themes when maintenance is included and enabled;
- create, verify, or use backups;
- restore the website or a previous version when authorized and necessary;
- and perform other actions reasonably required to provide the activated Guardian services.
Guardian will use this account only for providing, protecting, maintaining, and operating the authorized service.
The customer may revoke Guardian's access or remove the account. Doing so may prevent some or all Guardian services from functioning.
Removing the user, changing its permissions, blocking its connection, or otherwise interfering with the required access does not automatically cancel the membership.
11. Connections and customer information
You must provide accurate information about your business and keep the necessary connections in place.
Changing passwords, revoking permissions, modifying users, installing security measures, or making changes in WordPress or Google may interrupt the integrations.
If that happens, you must restore the connection or ask for help. Tasks that depend on it may be paused.
A disconnection is not a cancellation of the membership. It also does not automatically stop recurring charges; to stop them, you must request cancellation.
Delays caused by missing connections or information may affect delivery. Any adjustment to deliverables must be communicated and will not imply an automatic waiver of legal rights.
12. Content and artificial intelligence
Guardian uses artificial intelligence and automated tools as part of the service.
Content may require corrections. The customer must report changes to services, prices, locations, licenses, and other business information, and point out any errors they find.
The customer warrants that they have the right to use the materials they provide and that their products, services, and claims comply with applicable law.
Absolute exclusivity over wording or materials generated with artificial intelligence is not guaranteed. The protection and ownership of those materials will depend on the applicable law and rights.
13. Human changes to Guardian-managed content
Guardian uses measurements and version history to evaluate the performance of content it creates or manages.
Customers and their authorized users remain free to make changes to their website.
When Guardian detects that a person has modified content previously created or managed by Guardian, Guardian may preserve the human change, stop automatically modifying the affected portion, create a new version, or exclude that content from certain automated optimization processes.
Human modifications may affect Guardian's ability to determine whether a previous optimization was responsible for changes in performance.
Guardian is not responsible for negative results directly caused by changes made by the customer or another third party outside Guardian.
Customers should keep business information such as services, prices, locations, credentials, and availability accurate and may notify Guardian at [email protected] when those facts change.
14. Rankings and results
Guardian does not guarantee first place or any exact position on Google, Google Maps, ChatGPT, or other platforms.
Nor does it guarantee a specific number of visits, clicks, contacts, sales, or revenue, or a fixed timeframe to achieve them.
We work on useful content, website improvements, and data analysis to increase your opportunities for visibility. Consistent publishing alone does not ensure any ranking.
Results depend on factors such as competition, the condition of the website, demand, algorithms, and the decisions of external platforms. They may also fluctuate during or after the service.
Guardian is an independent service and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google, OpenAI, or other search engines.
15. External platforms and availability
WordPress, Google, Stripe, and other providers have their own terms and availability.
We do not control their outages, policy changes, restrictions, indexing decisions, or account suspensions. When these affect the service, we may adapt or temporarily suspend the functions that depend on them.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Limitations related to third parties do not exclude our own liability where the law provides for it.
16. Misuse and suspension
We may suspend the service in cases of fraud, non-payment, unlawful activity, lack of authorization over the accounts, or significant security risks.
We will explain the reason and the steps needed when possible. If we stop providing the service for a reason not attributable to the customer, we will handle amounts paid in advance for services not provided in accordance with the law and the circumstances of the case.
17. Privacy, support, and changes
The handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. Informational SMS messages are optional and are governed by the SMS Messaging Policy.
The only official support channel is [email protected]. Automatic notifications do not replace that channel.
We will give reasonable advance notice of relevant changes to prices or terms before applying them to future renewals. Such changes will not apply retroactively or reduce rights already acquired.
Support and Sponsorship Program
Guardian may operate a voluntary Support and Sponsorship Program through which individuals or businesses may support Guardian's development or contribute toward providing Guardian to eligible businesses.
Participation in that program is governed by separate terms:
https://guardianrank.com/en/sponsorship-terms/
Support and sponsorship payments are not investments, do not provide ownership or equity in Guardian, do not create a right to profits or financial returns, and are not represented by Guardian as tax-deductible charitable donations.
18. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States, without excluding any mandatory rules or non-waivable rights that may apply to the customer.
If any provision cannot be enforced, the remaining provisions will remain valid to the extent permitted by law.
