Guardian is a service of Go Digitals LLC, headquartered in the United States. This policy explains how we handle personal information related to guardianrank.com, our app, and our services.

1. Information we collect

Depending on the services you purchase and the connections you authorize, we may process:

• Contact information: name, email address, phone number, and business information.
• Purchase information: membership, subscription status, invoices, payments, and communications related to your account.
• Business information: services, location, service areas, website, and materials you provide to us.
• Information from connected platforms: WordPress content and settings; performance data from Google Search Console; and Google Business Profile information, according to the permissions you grant.
• Connection data: integration identifiers and credentials needed to keep the authorized platforms connected.
• Technical data: IP address, browser, device, and logs needed to operate and protect the website and the app.
• Communications and preferences: support requests and records of SMS consent or opt-outs.

You do not need to send us sensitive personal information that is not necessary to provide the service.

2. How we use information

We use this information to:

• Create and manage your account and membership.
• Process your purchase and check the status of payments.
• Analyze your business, create content, and make the authorized improvements.
• Manage the connections with WordPress and Google.
• Prepare reports and show the progress of the service.
• Respond to requests and send operational communications.
• Prevent fraud, protect accounts, and comply with legal obligations.

3. Payments through Stripe

Payments are processed through Stripe.

Depending on the payment method and the checkout settings, Stripe may request your name, email address, phone number, billing address, tax information, and payment method details.

Full card details are entered into Stripe's payment system. Guardian does not store your full card number or its security code.

We may receive information needed to manage the business relationship, such as payment status, transaction identifiers, invoices, contact details, and limited payment method details, for example, the card brand and the last four digits.

Stripe handles information in accordance with its Privacy Policy.

4. Connected platforms and artificial intelligence

When you connect WordPress or Google services, we process the information covered by the permissions you authorize in order to perform the functions you purchased.

Guardian uses artificial intelligence tools for tasks such as analysis, research, writing, and optimization. To do so, it may send its providers business information, website content, and other data needed to carry out those tasks.

You can revoke permissions from the corresponding platform or ask for help at [email protected]. Revoking a connection may prevent us from providing the functions that depend on it.

5. Providers and disclosure of information

We may share the necessary information with providers involved in delivering the service, such as payment processing, hosting, infrastructure, artificial intelligence, email, and messaging providers.

We may also disclose information when there is a legal obligation or when it is necessary to protect rights, investigate fraud, or respond to security incidents.

Mobile numbers and SMS consent data are not sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own advertising or promotional purposes. Providers involved in sending messages may process only the data needed to provide that service and to manage recipients' preferences.

6. SMS messages

Guardian may send informational, service-related messages to people who have agreed to receive them. We do not use this program for advertising or promotions.

Providing a phone number during checkout does not, by itself, authorize us to send you SMS messages.

You can withdraw your consent by replying STOP or by emailing [email protected]. Opting out of SMS does not cancel your membership.

7. Cookies and browser storage

The website and the app may use cookies or local storage for functions such as keeping you signed in, remembering your language, and protecting access.

If we add analytics or advertising tools that require consent, we will provide the corresponding information and controls before activating them, when the law requires it.

You can manage cookies from your browser. Blocking certain technologies may affect some functions.

8. Retention and security

We keep information for as long as necessary to provide the services and to meet accounting, legal, security, and dispute-resolution obligations.

When you cancel, some records may be kept for those reasons. We may also keep the minimum information needed to honor a request not to receive messages.

We apply reasonable measures to protect information. No storage or transmission system offers absolute security.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live and the applicable law, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your data, as well as to limit certain processing or withdraw your consent.

You can submit a request to [email protected]. We may verify your identity before handling it. Some requests may be subject to legal exceptions.

10. International processing

Guardian operates from the United States. Our providers may process information in other countries. Where applicable, we will use the safeguards required by applicable law for those transfers.

11. Minors

Guardian is intended for businesses and for people 18 years of age or older who have the legal capacity to enter into contracts. It is not directed to minors.

12. Support, sponsorships, and business nominations

If you participate in the Guardian Support and Sponsorship Program, we may collect:

• your name and email address;
• company or organization name;
• website;
• contribution amount;
• whether you chose to support Guardian or sponsor a business;
• your public recognition or anonymity preference;
• messages you choose to provide;
• and information about businesses you nominate.

When you nominate a business, we may collect its business name, website, publicly available business contact information, and information you provide explaining the nomination.

Please do not submit sensitive personal information about another person.

We may use nomination information to evaluate the business, determine eligibility, and contact the business when appropriate.

Public sponsor information

Participating in the program does not automatically make your information public.

If you choose public recognition, you authorize Guardian to display the information you select, which may include your name, company or business name, sponsorship level, optional message, and your website or one approved social profile link. The business you sponsored is shown only where appropriate and authorized.

You may choose to remain anonymous.

You may later request removal of your public recognition by contacting [email protected]. Removal from public display does not necessarily require deletion of transaction or accounting records that we are required or permitted to retain.

13. Guardian technical account and WordPress access

When Guardian is connected to a WordPress website, Guardian may create or use a dedicated technical user or service account with permissions necessary to provide the services authorized by the customer.

Through this connection we may process information including:

• website content;
• pages and posts;
• media and images;
• titles, headings, metadata, and links;
• WordPress settings;
• installed plugins and themes;
• software versions;
• website health and technical status;
• backup and restoration information;
• technical and security logs;
• and information required to create, edit, publish, maintain, protect, or restore the website within the authorized scope.

Guardian uses the technical account only to provide and operate the authorized service.

Customers may revoke access, but doing so may prevent Guardian from providing some or all connected functions.

14. Changes and contact

We may update this policy to reflect changes in the service or in our obligations. We will publish the current version and will notify you of relevant changes when appropriate.
